Character Design: Snow White
An in-school project, we were given the task to redesign protagonists from well known fairy tales. I chose to reinterpret Snow White from the Grimm's' Fairy Tales , bringing the story to the Medieval Asia - Tang Dynasty (A.D. 618-907).
The reinterpret Snow White is inspired by the Imperial Consort Yang (Yang Guifei), one of the Four Beauties of ancient China. Just as Snow White, Yang has been described to be a fair skinned beauty as well.
